Apollon Town Meeting Dec. 6th

General Introduction

In this town meeting, our panel moderated by Chalky who is a 26-year-old grand staff discussed whether shops in Apollon should be closed early.
As a background to this discussion, industries are increasing in Apollon and some people are overworking.

The Panelists Today Were:

Mountain Elephant: a 30-year-old male flower shop owner who agreed to close shops early. He said some people in Apollon died from overwork. He suggested most of shops should be closed at 7 p.m. and only supermarket could be open until 9 p.m.

Emma Ashley: a 27-year-old female pattissier who agreed to close shops early because she thought that the burden of works were increasing and we cloud cut down labor cost. She tried to get back to the main topic once in the meeting.

Paul Gilbert: a 48-year-old male philosopher who agreed to close shops early, however, he also said some shops or facilities such as hospital should be open 24 hours.

Clara Arnold: a 37-yaer-old wife of a farmer who disagreed to close shops early, because she was concerned that she couldn't go shopping after working and that it may reduce working.

John Doe: a 19-year-old NEET who disagreed to close shops early, because he thought shops which are open 24 hours must change their system.

Consensus

Unfortunately, the panel was not able to move toward a consensus.

Observation and Opinions

The topic in the meeting was not sure and I couldn't understand well. I don't think the meeting was effective, because I felt the background was not enough. I felt it was difficult to say that some people died from overworking in Apollon.
